(11)Movie Review: Venom: Let There Be Carnage (Part-2) [CBFC: U/A 2021 ‧ Action/Sci-fi ‧ 1h 37m]

This movie is a sequel to the house of the Venom franchise. An action-packed thriller ride awaits that goes deep inside the chaotic world of the symbiotes which is nothing but a black parasite(venom). The film is venomously entertaining and darkly humorous. Directed under the supervision of Andy Serkis, this film very well showcases everything that the fans loved in the first part. This time they have introduced some new elements to make the watching experience exciting and enjoyable(i.e. no repeated actions from the prequel).

Plot and Characters:

The story continues with Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) attempting to adjust to his new life with Venom, an alien symbiote. As the two struggle with their coexistence, their odd couple dynamic continues to be a source of comedic gold. When serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) becomes the host for a new symbiote called Carnage, the plot thickens and sets up an epic battle.

Cletus Kasady is played by Woody Harrelson in a chilling and captivating manner. Carnage's menacing energy contrasts sharply with Venom's more playful demeanor during his transformation. The film works really hard of adjusting the hazier tones of Butchery's storyline with the lighter, frequently humorous collaborations among Eddie and Toxin.

Visuals and Action:

"Let There Be Carnage" is a feast for the eyes in terms of visuals. The symbiotes are brought to life with a visceral intensity thanks to the top-notch special effects. The inventive and fast-paced action sequences demonstrate Venom's and Carnage's destructive capabilities. The final fight is especially impressive because Serkis directed every punch, kick, and tendril attack to feel powerful.

Humor and Heart:

What separates "Venom: The ability of "Let There Be Carnage" to combine heartfelt humor sets it apart. The movie's emotional core is Eddie and Venom's relationship, which provides genuine warmth in the midst of the chaos. Their witty banter is always funny, and their developing partnership gives the story more depth.

Conclusion:

"Venom: The sequel "Let There Be Carnage" lives up to its promise of action, humor, and visual spectacle. The film's pacing ensures that there is never a dull moment, and Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson give outstanding performances. It's a fun, action-packed comic book movie that leaves you wanting more, even though it's not a deep philosophical look at human nature.

"Venom: The Animated Series" is a must-see for first-time moviegoers and fans of superhero or anti-hero tales. Watching "Let There Be Carnage" is a must. It's a tumultuous symbiote symphony that hits all of the right notes.
